In summer, Alta Badia is the right destination for those who dream either of a relaxing getaway or of the possibility to generate the body and the mind through various activities in the Dolomites. Directly from Taela you can set off exploring the enchanting paths that wind towards the Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Prags, towards the centre of San Cassiano (the Larch Trail) and towards the plateau of Piz la Ila that hosts the fantastic Movimënt family world. Discover the splendid scenery of the Dolomites on foot or by mountain bike, along fixed-rope routes and climbing trails, by paragliding or hang gliding. Special cultural and gastronomic appointments are reserved for you in every village of Alta Badia.
Winter on the slopes of Alta Badia
Exciting ski tours and lots of other adventures
Rushing down along the magnificent runs, surrounded by fascinating peaks, covered with virgin snow… Sounds like a dream, but in Alta Badia it’s an everyday reality. 130 km of slopes and, moreover, convenient connections with the other areas of Dolomiti Superski, that all together make up the world’s biggest ski area, that can be explored through different ski circuits: the Sellaronda, the First World War Tour and many others. In addition to the various Alpine ski- and snowboard-related disciplines (freeride, freestyle, boardercross, ski mountaineering, telemark, etc.), Alta Badia offers 30 km of cross-country ski trails, numerous snowshoe hikes and lots of winter entertainment: playgrounds on the snow, toboggan runs, sleigh rides, different ski shows and a variety of sporting, cultural and gastronomic events.
To reach the cable car of Piz Sorega and the ski slopes of Alta Badia, take advantage of the free comfortable ski bus, that stops directly in front of Taela.
